Our headquarters is located in the capital city, which puts us close to government institutions, associations, representative offices and prominent construction and infrastructure projects.
The corporate law, antitrust law, mergers & acquisitions, banking & finance, public economic law and construction, contracting law, labour law, tax law, media and IT law sectors are all located in Berlin. Interdisciplinary teams are assembled for complex projects such as privatisations or reorganisations.
In order to provide farsighted advice, it is important to maintain continuous and close contacts to the people who plan and make political decisions, i.e. to the ministries, authorities and associations, most of which are located in Berlin. We know the main players in this field – and they know us.
The capital city is the centre of deregulation and privatisation activities in Germany. We don’t just follow the course of events on location, we actually help to shape them. One example of our contribution is the annual Berlin Privatisation Forum, which unites economic, political and management experts.
Berlin is the stage for spectacular building projects. Our property law team is responsible for the construction rights of projects which characterise the cityscapes of this and other major German cities.
Last but not least, the capital city is also home to the headquarters and representative offices of German and international companies which form part of our clientele.
